The Office of Parish Life works to support and promote a Catholic lifestyle at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; one that:
- Deepens our conversion as disciples of Jesus Christ
- Provides a context for true, human relationships to develop in Christian friendship
- Builds a community, where all people experience their belonging in the Body of Christ
Through support and development of small, Christian communities (small groups), training and development of leaders and facilitators, and events and programming that provide points of connection for people to know and be known by others, we seek to truly embody, âAll are welcome.â

7PM | DEASY HAL
Join us for an unforgettable evening with acclaimed Catholic musician, songwriter and recording artist Mike Mangione, performing live.
Doors Open 6:45PM
Event Begins: 7PM
No ticket necessary. Free concert. Bring a plate of your favorite Christmas cookies to share.
Mike Mangione is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and storyteller whose music weaves together soulful melodies with profound reflections on faith, spirituality, and human connection. Drawing from his Catholic upbringing and deep theological insights, Mikeâs work explores themes of grace, redemption, and the sacredness of the everyday.
Mike is known for his evocative blend of Americana, folk, and orchestral rock. Born in Chicago, Illinois, and now based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mangione began his musical journey at age 13, often collaborating with his brother Tom, a fellow left-handed guitarist. He gained national attention with his band Mike Mangione & The Union, whose 2012 album Red-Winged Blackbird Man earned critical acclaim, including a four-star review from American Songwriter magazine. His most recent album, Blood & Water (2022), produced by Grammy-winner Larry Campbell, explores themes of faith, sacrifice, and human connection through rich lyrical storytelling and lush instrumentation.
Beyond music, Mangione is the co-hosts of a new podcast project alongside Christopher West, due out this fall and was a contributor to the 2022 publication, God Is Beauty: A Retreat of The Gospel and Art (TOBI Press). Mike also serves as the Chief Creative Officer at the Theology of the Body Institute, reflecting his deep engagement with spirituality and the arts. Mike is a proud husband and father of three wonderful children.

SMALL GROUPS
We live in a society that can be very isolating. Even though we are busy, surrounded by people, and incessantly connected by social technology, our culture still struggles with loneliness. Prince of Peace is a very large community. While it is a friendly, welcoming community, it can still be possible to slip in and out of Mass or other parish functions without developing true, human relationships.

A small group typically consists of 6-10 people who speak with and relate to one another frequently. We would love to have everyone in the parish involved in some kind of small group! The parish office of Parish Life is available to support, train, brainstorm, and serve you in any way you need to find or start a small group.
